Supporting Youth with Problematic Sexual Behaviors: Understanding the MST-PSB Approach

This session will introduce Multisystemic Therapy for Problematic Sexual Behavior (MST-PSB) and highlight how community-based clinicians partner with caregivers to support youth and families.
Participants will learn how MST-PSB helps:
Strengthen caregiver and family engagement
Improve communication within the home
Develop and implement practical safety planning strategies
Reduce stigma while supporting understanding and accountability
Keep youth safely connected to their homes and communities whenever possible
This presentation will also explore how empowering caregivers and using a family-centered approach can improve outcomes for youth with complex behavioral needs.
